If you are spiritual, but not religious, this may not be the proper video for you. I feel like the title and description are a bit misleading when this sermon is based on the patriarchal and biblical systems that are not synonymous with mindfulness and deep self-reflection.<br><br>It’s hard to find good information about fasting for <b>non-denominational</b> spirituality. It’s also hard because I have ADHD and I think that Munroe didn’t start talking about fasting until 25 mins into this 1.5 hour sermon. To add to the resistance I feel, Munroe began this sermon by acknowledging that other religions have a lot in common with Christianity (including prayer), but did not address that many schools of thought have fasted. I just don’t feel the same need to label “God” as coming from a single source or capitalize it like an authority figure that demands respect.
