Such a good episode, and honestly too many important takeaways but to mention a few: Hailey saying that the countless injury setbacks just made her stronger (mentally and physically) and more resilient, and instead of feeling negative about it being able to say that she wouldn’t be the player she is now without it, huge respect and testament to her character and discipline.

Also Justin restating that in the tough moments to remind yourself, this is what you wanted, to be in these situations essentially. I feel like that’s helpful for any level of player, I’m a 3.5 trying to become 4.0 and it’s something I’ve used as a cue when matches get tight so I love that.

Lastly, diving into the kickserve analysis and serve+volley analysis was interesting honestly. Also hilarious when Jody was like “I know my volleys are nice, fck it I’m coming in” and she was trying the media trained answer but just was like yeah I’m that b*tch 😂😂😂 love to see it

Also as a honorary AWL and somebody who’s been subscribed the “hey you know you wrong right? For not subscribing..” is always to abrupt but funny 😂 Maybe you guys could change it up because I’m like yo I’m already subscribed! don’t accuse me lmfao

Great pod keep going, would love an Anisimova one because of her hardships of course, and probably has the best backhand on the womens tour and potentially better than some men it’s an absolute bomb.
