  btw every character at ds2 resurrect but not the way you think. you literally resurrect their souls to interact with them . after a period of them dying a tomb will appear where they died . if you interact with it , they resurrect . however, you need soul to just talk with them each time

  you can ressurect a npc but it cost money, just wait for the tombstone to appear and you can level up again

  I usually kill the guy with the fake Moon Greatsword since his quest is very heavy and the rewards are more geared towards the early game, so depending on the build I&apos;m putting together, I kill him and take his armor to have decent equipment from the start.

  actually, you don&apos;t NEED to lvl up ADP, but agility, for the iframes and associated shenanigans.<br>to lvl up agility, you can lvl ADP, or attunement. both works.<br>That&apos;s why the dark spellblade path is THE most optimal one in DS2 : lot of spells = lot of attunement, lot of buffs and ranged options, plus iframes and casting speed...

  also, I didnt much consume human effigies... I got that ring that brutally limits your HP reduction upon death, so the more you progress the game, the less it matters... so I usually took human effigy for a boss fight or tough section where you could summon other players
