If you had all these cars…would you drive it or leave it parked inside forever?

Sign up to FreeCash with my link and secure yourself a $10 bonus on your first game 💸
https://bit.ly/stapletonFC

Believe it or not, that car was involved in an accident during WW2 in DC, with a Taxi. My mother was the passenger of the taxi.
She said FDR was very polite, nice and had his folks check on her, brought her up to the door so they could speak. She worked in the War Dept then Pentagon during WW2, quartermaster corp.

I bet if you checked those American Flags attached to the front they would only have 48 stars. Would let you know they predate 1959 at the very least. The curator of that museum is a treasure. Seems like a great fella.

The Secret Service moved all the Presidential cars by special end-door baggage cars on trains, rarely driving them long distances.

FDR likely rode in the right side rear seat for two reasons: he would have been closest to the crowds during a parade, and it would have made entrance and egress as simple as possible, given his paralysis.

Thanks for going that extra mile and climbing under the beefy dash. Cars like this need to be documented and that menagerie under the dash as probably never been videoed. Liked & Subscribed.

What a wonderful relic from a bygone era. Hard to imagine an age when presidents routinely rode in open cars.
