  Fun fact about Slime Rancher. The ocean is actually made of slime and so when a slime falls in they reappear somewhere else. (There is no actual game mechanic for this, it&apos;s just a fun bit of lore.)

  Fun fact: Him deciding not to do those mini games cost him his psyche. &nbsp;The upgrades that come from those video games are therapy in the world of slime rancher. &nbsp;It&apos;s farm upgrades, drone upgrades, that one chicken thing. &nbsp;there were times where pain went through my body (Like his apparent allergy to the moss blanket) &nbsp;. &nbsp;However, still a pretty good play through.

  This game cured my toxic gaming, it showed me that i could have fun in single player games and that if a game makes you angry it&apos;s (most of the time) not worth playing. i love this game and recommend it to most people.

  I played this YEARS ago. It&apos;s funny starting out with the mindset of maximizing profits but soon getting fed up with the associated issues and starting to feel like the bad guy for the poor living conditions.<br><br>I didn&apos;t expect such a cute game to hit me in the conscience like that.

  its a shame you didnt find the mini game areas earlier, because their upgrades are actually great if you stick it through and grind them out. <br><br>Viktor gives you advanced drones which have 2 task slots, Ogden gives you upgrades for your farms which lets them grow more and not spoil as fast, and Mochi gives your coops upgrades that lets them keep double the chickens and takes away elders automatically

  I loved watching him toss the slimes everywhere about 12 minutes in. Watching him toss a rock plort into the pink tabby pen gave me a premonition of doom. Watching him walk 3 minutes away to toss 1 tar rather than go to the back of the ranch made me realise his ranch was about to be decimated. I love slime rancher.

  Slime Rancher tips for anyone who needs them:<br><br>- Make all your slimes into largos as soon as you have the money for air nets, plort collectors and high walls. Try to keep them different largo types so that you&apos;re getting max efficiency. Practice in Casual first if you&apos;re nervous of Tarr outbreaks.<br>- Put a Solar Shield over Mosaic or Phosphor slimes&apos; corrals or put them in the grotto, otherwise they have things happen (mosaic makes more fires faster, and phosphor slimes despawn in daylight)<br>-After you get the purple treasure pods unlocked, tier 3 and 4 extractors do not need rock, tabby or phosphor plorts; instead they use mosaic, dervish and tangle respectively. If you&apos;re looking for space somehow then you can replace some of your rock/tabby/phosphor slimes with others.<br>-Put puddle slimes in the pre placed pools in the docks or viktor&apos;s lab since it saves a corral space for slimes or farms.<br>-Fire slimes are nigh useless due to lack of slime science use and being quite cheap on the plort market. not to mention, they die if you don&apos;t put them in an incinerator with an ash trough upgrade.<br>- do the minigame sideworlds (ogden&apos;s, mochi&apos;s and viktor&apos;s) because they give you useful upgrades and a ton more space. ogden gives you really good farm upgrades, mochi gives you a money boosting one and a coop upgrade for if you need that, and viktor gives advanced drones.<br>- never waste strange diamonds on extra teleporters if you can. pop some of the tabby or rock gordos if you need fast travel to the moss blanket or the indigo quarry. <br>- you can use the jetpack with some timed jumps to save a slime key and jump over the moss blanket gate<br>- when you&apos;re headed to the ancient ruins, you should open the slime gate at the moss blanket, since it&apos;s way faster to get to<br>- if you&apos;re looking for hunter slimes, there&apos;s an island where they spawn a lot over that weird gap next to the honey slime gordo<br>- honey slimes are just generally some of the easiest slimes to start with, they pair with hunter well since hunter costs a lot and honey is good for slime science, plus you can get them both in one area<br>- when you&apos;re combining largos, try to combine a chicken eating slime type with one that eats fruit/veggies that ISN&apos;T crystal slime<br>- crystal slime&apos;s favorite food doesn&apos;t grow in gardens that well so try to combine it with another slime that eats produce so it gets double plorts produced.<br>- you can use a max gordo snare from a treasure pod with a gilded ginger to get a gold slime gordo. this is the easiest way to get gold slimes for profit. <br>- advanced drones are op, combine an auto feeder with 4-6 largos in one corral and you&apos;ll get so many plorts. <br>- tangle largos near others (ESPECIALLY HONEY SLIMES) can be a tarr risk as their vines could possibly steal a plort before the plort collectors do. <br>- don&apos;t bother with lucky slimes unless really early game, they give only 50-200 coins
