  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uSyTbf7K-o&amp;t=265">4:25</a> fun fact:<br>The reason those missile launchers are there on the original model is because the A-wings were built with pieces from F-14 model kits. Those holes would be where the glove vanes go on the original aircraft, and you can likely see some of the detail where the engine intakes would begin on the underside of the ship

  Your history of the A-wing being your favourite Star Wars ship, your early LEGO version of one, building Ron&apos;s MOC of the A-Wing based on a more modern LEGO set and then your rework of his design, literally perfectly mirrors my history with Delta 7 Jedi Starfighter.

  My childhood A-Wing was the 2013 one :) but I also got the 2017 one on the aftermarket a good few years ago

  Glad I have encountered a YouTuber who appreciates my favorite LEGO A-Wing! Crazy that I was given it 20 years ago! My 2006 A-wing is one of my few LEGO sets that sits on my shelf
