  Theory time:<br>Personal, I thought that maybe Gerald was the one who killed Angelica’s parents as they didn’t pay him back or owned him money. Darcy was the mother and Mr write was the father. Darcy had her eyes poked out (why she has empty eyes.) and bled to death,while Mr write(her possible dad) had protected Angelica by cutting off Geralds hand(possibly why he has no limbs).Gerald could have been extremely drunk during this and fled the scene in his car. He then crashed and died. Angelica was left to Julia and Julian’s care as they were friends with her parents.However, when Julia left for errands,Julian had been abusing her.she only found comfort when she was outdoors (why she loves frogs).however, It got so bad to the point when she had killed herself. Julia found out what happened and became depressed and left Julian on her birthday (why he had to continue throwing a birthday party for her) , he then became extremely upset and regretted what he had done. He then killed himself but then his soul was captured by the nightmare guy and was forced to live in an endless hell, becoming more corrupted each time. He was forced to do things he didn’t want to, trying to undo what can’t be undone.<br><br>But hey that’s just a theory. A GAME THEORY.   My theory 1: In the intro they say they are “like their own small family” and Darcy was seen looking at a photo of a mother and child, and Angelica told a story about a lonely princess and the parents were killed by someone, the princess in the story could be Angelica and Darcy could be her mother, meaning that both of them probably were brutally murdered.<br><br>My theory 2: Julia leaved every time to get groceries, and when it’s time for her surprise party she’s aware we’ve already celebrated it before. And later on when you play as the hooded character, when they take off the hood they look like Julia. On the trips that Julia took to get “groceries” she could have been working on a way to get out of the game.
