  You don’t even realise how much I needed to hear you guys talking about being child free. I’m almost 100% certain I don’t want kids, I’m 32 this year and I just seem to be surrounded by people who are pregnant and I feel like I should want kids but I really don’t. It’s sooo refreshing to hear other people talk about it, feel less alone ❤

  Moreover.. research over the decades shows that parents are less happy than non parents. Someone recently mentioned that it takes a village to raise a child and they were happy being part of that village.. that totally summed up my feelings on the matter.

  My parent friends always say, OMG, you cannot understand how hard parenting is.. so I politely reply, I absolutely can, which is why I don’t have them..

  Thank you for the conversation around “should”. As someone who has been in therapy for years it’s somehow more light bulby hearing it from similar aged women who are also childless. I am surrounded by mums and those few who aren’t are super alpha overachievers in their personal lives… frankly I just want to lie down and take a nap. I have no idea what my hobbies are other than I enjoy fashion chat and random cute things lol. So thank you. I think everyone is predisposed to a different trajectory based on their personality and upbringing - so thank you for the reminder that “should” can be unkind, not only when we impose it on others, but also ourselves!

  I really like the term child free also. <br>It&apos;s all about no judgement no matter what people&apos;s circumstances or lives are like ❤<br>Once we remember to be kind that is always a good starting point 😊
