Each time I address one issue, a new one comes up. There's no end to the deterioration of our bodies and faces.

Its incredible! 50% of the whole population of the world will go through menopause. Women are working now with very demanding jobs and dont sleep at night, body aches, headaches, night sweats, terrible menstruation that last 10 days every 2 weeks. its creating depression, and women everywhere are suffering!! Getting told that its just in your head.. or its normal… cant do anything
Doctors need to update their education on this important subject and take us SERIOUSLY 😒

I'm sick and tired of doctors not taking me seriously when I say that I started sweating at night and my odour has changed. It's all "stress" and out of the door 🙄

Say what you like I hate menopause and effects on the body. Menopause should be treated as a medical condition. I feel like no one understands.😢

The thing I notice during perimenopause is the makeup and skincare I used to love no longer suits me, I literally have to give away all the old stuff and experiment new ones to find new ones that suits me. Makeup became nightmare, as mature skin can be tricky to apply makeup without looking even older. Foundation became a no no unless dilute it. Perimenopause seriously gives me more headache than I anticipated

Going on HRT was life changing for me. Before HRT, my sweat smelled different and I would breakout sweating randomly. My skin oily I'd had my whole life, turned dry. I had cystic acne that finally went away for good. I had lovely skin when I was pregnant, but then once my estrogen started to wane in my 30s, I had higher testosterone causing the acne both on my face and back. The roller coaster of perimenopause stinks. I also developed melasma on my face and that has resolved too. So thankful to be over the hump. Replacing my estrogen and progesterone has been an life saver in so many ways!

Thanks Dr Dray! Perimenopause is a journey and not many doctors acknowledge the changes and shifts of middle age. You are a breath of fresh air! Have an awesome Wednesday! ❤

At 48, I see aging as a national process and I try to embrace with dignity.
- But I refuse to look like a tossed old leather bag. Aging gracefully is the goal.
- Now that I finally have more time for me, kids had growing up and my career is under control… i wanna enjoy my personal time. I prioritize exercise to keep my body strong so I can benefit all the time left!
