Well, if this were a real story, the daughters would be just as much victims - even more so, since the intent was to steal their money and their future and now their future has been stolen. We're talking about two children who some might say at 16 and 17 should be a little more able to see the con, but remember the attacks and perversion of reality began years ago, when they were far more vulnerable. How did OP let them so distort reality? Did he NEVER talk to his daughters in the 16 years he "sacrificed" raising them? Sure doesn't look like it. If this story IS real, OP was every bit of an evil, hurtful, - yes, and abusive - person as the story tries to paint the ex and her criminal husband. OP, if real, IS a terrible father and a terrible person, while his daughters are victims of the 3 people - OP, ex & ex's hubby - who were supposed to protect them and love them unconditionally. What a despicable bunch of garbage parents, all 3 of them. But it's all good now, right, cuz OP is rich, has a beautiful [object] on his arm, and the poor abused daughters - who OP has failed so badly but blames THEM for HIS failure - get to head into adult life having been destroyed by all 3 parents.
