I think there's a big misunderstanding of Sanguinius' character. What makes him compelling is his self awareness that he ISNT the perfect angel that everyone else sees him as. He has anger issues, is secretive, suffers from MASSIVE imposter syndrome (he doesn't believe in his glaze because of times hes failed especially as a father) and is insecure about being a mutant in a mutant hating society. He's also cursed to know his own fate, despite all that he still accepts himself for the weapon he is and not the angel people describe him to be, and decides to use his talents to do the best for others as possible, unlike curze who became a pos, Sanguinius actively decides to fight fate, and unironically its his reaction to his problems that justify why he deserves to be considered an angel, not the other flashy stuff. He's awesome man

Don't forget Fabius clones of Fulgrim absolutely refused to be tempted by Chaos which does seem to point towards him being a decent bloke before the blade exploited his weakness with his obsession with perfection.

For Fulgrim, you guys didn't consider the book Fulgrim, the Palatine Phoenix. He shows compassion to mortals after one of his sons knocks one over, saying, "You look down on them, blind to the beauty of their struggle. Blind to what they might become. If only someone would scrape the filth from their faces. Look at them, my sons, you are the highest, they the lowest. It is your duty to raise them up, as high as they will go. Anything less is not worthy of you."

I think Fulgrim should have been higher.

Sanguinius actually has a worse version of the Red Thirst in the few books where he appears. The moment he starts losing his temper, his sons have to scramble to restrain him, and in Ruinstorm his body literally warps and deforms when his rage breaks through. His flaw isn’t the absence of flaws it’s that he’s terrified of the flaws he believes he has, and that fear drives him into making the wrong choice every single time. He proves to Konrad Curze that fate can be changed if someone is willing to try literally taking him to a world that shows that fate unravels . But instead of trying, Sanguinius embraces the destiny he thinks gives the Emperor the best chance of victory di to the fear of what could be if he avoids his own death at Horus’s hands. He isn’t resigned because he’s noble he’s resigned because he’s afraid of the alternative. Look at all his choices he’s fatalistic because of fear at every point in time he’s a good version of the crazy brother

Konrad was one crazy sonovabitch, but even without his insanity, many occasions prove he was truly evil. Several passages in the books show that he genuinely enjoyed torturing people, which makes him a sadist.

He was also deeply bitter, fully aware that his core philosophical choices, malice, and actions were wrong, yet he still chose to continue down that path. He used his fatalistic visions merely as an excuse to commit terrible atrocities. When Elver finally pointed out this hypocrisy, Curze immediately ordered his Legion to dispatch him, because he cannot allow a mortal see his true self.

I think the insanity card better fits Angron. He really wasn't a bad guy before he got the nail.

Pancreas no work is just hilarious to me man. Eldar lover choosing Guilliman and Lorgar as his favorites and says he doesn’t like Sanguinius. Bros character palette is built like British food.

Jaghatai is not evil at all because GW forgot he existed so they didn't write him any lore of him being evil.

Corvus deserves to be with the "angels". I think he's one of the most moral primarchs and he respected regular people.
There's whole theme of him being "good" twin of Konrad Curze.
