I'm here to support the girls, win or lose. It's typical for US fans to go junk individual players everytime the leam lose. Please remember, it's better to lose now than during the WC. The team went to Brazil to learn more, including logistics, playing against a hostile crowd, travel -play-recover for many of the girls and ground realities in terms of food, hotel conditions, pitch conditions, etc..

Man I started watching women’s soccer in 2019 amd going to every thorns game in the GA section, and I just remember how powerful the courage was that year. Dunn and McDonald together felt unstoppable.

Regarding the stadium, be prepare for Neo Quimica Arena, the field is always slippery. The grass is natural and always wet, so the ball runs faster. Playing so much in turf may be a something the USWNT must re-think if they want to continue to be a top team.

The USWNT used to dominate mainly because other countries didn’t take women’s soccer seriously. That’s no longer the case. In Europe, Mexico, and elsewhere, there’s growing investment in women’s programs, and you can see the impact in their national teams.

Brazil bullied us the entire first half. Foxy inexplicably takes steps away from her mark just ahead of the ball floating over her head; she reacted poorly. Lily on the counter goal just has to professionally foul with Claire and her exposed.

Go back and watch those friendlies we played against Germany, or any time we play Spain and watch how often they foul us IMMEDIATELY when they turn the ball over. It was constant. We rarely foul when we turn the ball over.
