  It's important to study actual combat footage for three reasons I think. 1) to take away important educational tactical lessons from what happened. 2) to remember those who fought. 3) to see the realities of war. This analysis is NOT meant to give the impression that Ukraine is winning or anything like that, of course I have a bias and I find myself more interested in Ukrainian victories, I think that's normal for a former US soldier, but also because there is A TON of footage and interviews on this battle its really well documented in english so I found it the most compelling.

  It&apos;s such an absurdity of media that while we are watching live combat - people tearing each other to pieces - expletives are bleeped to shield out sensitive psyche.

  One of the most iconic videos of the war. Assualts like these aren&apos;t possible these days. Chosen company has since disbanded. A few of the guys are still active though. The commander Ryan is still active on twitter. The lines don&apos;t look like this now. All of the guys on both sides would have &nbsp;been fpv&apos;d in like 20 minutes today. &nbsp;Crazy how much it&apos;s changed.
