2:20 this part always gets me. She mentions how she hates to be alone at night, something that is a very commonly shared sentiment, especially among women. It makes sense for her to seek out companionship in the name of safety and peace of mind. But the way that she says it, entirely resigned and with no trace of anxiety or unease creates that sense of fear for her newfound acquaintance right off the bat. Why would the predator have to be afraid of their prey?

23:10 "The day was bound to eventually arrive" and she's foreshadowing a line from the second video: "To escape me, you had to be lucky every single night. To catch you, I only had to be lucky once."

Even from the way she speaks... It's almost like she hasn't had a conversation in 15 years. Incredible acting

The head movements in this felt really uncanny, the character looked like she was struggling to mimic human movements. Very well acted!

I hate that this made me realize I'll never know the difference between someone flirting with me or if they are a vampire who's after my blood lmao

The second she was getting in personal space and feeling comfortable enough to adjust a strangers hair, I was feeling the sensation that I didn't have the choice to leave anymore

the fact that you can hear the train coming at the end is such a nice touch too because you know she was lying to you the entire time

Her completely unchanging expression when she said "The train? The train’s not coming." as if it was a completely casual thing to say was so utterly haunting and brilliant

i love the way the story escalates, how she tries to build your trust little by little so it's not until the middle of it when you realize her stranger behavior may be more alarming than it first seemed to be!

I like to think that the reason we didn't run away from her at the first sign of danger is that she has some sort of hypnotic powers. Maybe something in her perfume or the way she tells us "you want me to stay, you want me to look at you, to speak to you" etc as if she is telling us how to feel, like if her words are hypnotic.
