  The crucible "myth" was not a myth in earlier versions of the game, that's how it actually worked. It was a QoL change not too long ago

  Temporal storm spawn rules are not the same as "normal time", many spawn restrictions are lifted during the storms.

  I’m pretty sure temporal storms make monsters ignore normal spawning conditions, so normally I think the myth was true

  The bones one is not a myth, I&apos;m pretty sure it&apos;s part of a popular mod that adds more animals. People probably started mistaking it for a vanilla feature.

  The corpse myth could come from the mod Fauna of the stone age, there are several of these mods and in all of them theres a mechanic that makes corpses stop animals from the mod from spawning in the area around the corpse, maybe the myth comes from that mod? not a vanilla feature for sure

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WPfZMBnXLs&amp;t=621">10:21</a> Not really busted. &nbsp;Spawn rules are different in temporal storms. &nbsp;They never spawn on partial blocks outside of a temporal storm and they are still much less likely to spawn on them during a temporal storm.

  Temporal storm spawning is weird. They can spawn inside solid blocks as long as they don&apos;t collide with anything. If they attempt to spawn with an air block below them the game will move them down until they are above a non-air block. They spawn in the exact center of the block. So you can make a hallway with sideways slabs on the walls to prevent drifters from spawning with you, or chisel a block with only the center bottom remaining. That&apos;s why slabs on floors don&apos;t work, because they&apos;ll just spawn in the air block above the slab.

  For the bones i actually thought it was the opposite, the bones in the ground could increase the likelihood of spawning bears and wolves...

  im fairly certain throwing a spear takes more durability if you hit the ground instead of an animal but i could be crazy
