  The best Dragon ball z fighting game ever and the only version that's gonna beat it in terms of gameplay is the Budokai 4 mod you guys are preparing.

  Last year i modded the ps3 hd collection with the og soundtrack, and for me is the definitive version

  Since I don&apos;t see it anywhere in the comments, To anyone wondering why the Soundtrack was changed in the HD Collection its cuz the composer, Kenji Yamamoto, was caught in a massive plagiarism scandal. Majority of his music was basically stolen from others.<br><br>Once you hear the comparisons, and more of who he stole from you&apos;ll wonder why he wasn&apos;t caught sooner.

  Slight issue to keep in mind that only affects North America as far as I&apos;m aware. The original run of the Greatest Hits version accidentally shipped with Vanilla. So there&apos;s a chance that if you get your hands on a Greatest Hits copy that it&apos;ll be the Vanilla version.

  I remember when my friend got botleg version of budokai 3 where you couldn&apos;t select alt outfit and the only way to get it was picking random character until you got outfit you wanted😂

  IIRC European and American vanilla versions also differ by the European having Kageyama on the opening while US gets the guitar lead. IDK about Greatest Hits/Collector&apos;s.

  Budokai 3 was my first PS2 game, i played it so much that the disc got scratched to the point of no return, it took &nbsp;me a few years to buy the game again, as a DBZ child i would never skip the opening

  still remember returning in my home country from vaccation in winter, arrived at the Snowy Geneva airport with a sad mind, and stopped in front of a gameshop in the airport, i saw the Vanilla B3 with Broly and Cooler on the cover only to get surprised by my parents when they decided to buy me this game over 70.- ... that&apos;s why it will remain for me the best version of all time 😂
