  Your testimony is so powerful. I have a similar testimony. I didn’t see the signs. The day I married my ex husband after 3 months the first night sleeping next to him I had this thought would this man ever try to kill me. I went through 7 years of domestic violence. God gave me a dream telling me to leave him and showed me his mistress that he was going to choose her over me. Holy Spirit said if you don’t leave you are going to be more hurt. In the dream I was walking away crying because he chose her over me. I got tired of the abuse and finally got the courage to leave. I was having second thoughts about leaving and the Holy Spirit said “if you don’t leave now, you will not be leaving.” Because of his violent behavior I wasn’t sure what that meant but I didn’t want to find out. I sat at a bus stop for 8 hours to take a bus from Virginia to California. When I loaded the bus he called me and said “where are you I came home to make my family work.” I now am a domestic violence survivor that shares my testimony of how God delivered me. I help coach women on signs and how to change their mindset so they don’t return to domestic violence. I’ve been single for 8 years and God taught me to ask him before I even give or get a number. We have to ask God about everything.

  I also met a guy that I was 100% sure was going to be the man I was going to marry. He checked every single box on my list! God told me to leave him and said he will utterly destroy my life. God showed me a glimpse of me crying with my heart ripped out and in pieces in the worse romantic pain I had ever been it. The image was mortifying enough for me to end it with this guy. <br><br>5 months later of feeling confused and upset about letting that guy go, and reading the Bible to fill my emptiness, God showed me a guy that was absolutely gorgeous and 10x better looking than the guy I just left. We met at church and are now engaged! God is good!! Sometimes He tells you to let go and you will just go through a few months of pain instead of a few years of earth shattering heartbreak only to start all over again. God told me to take the hard path for 5 months and saved me 3 years of suffering! <br><br>Follow God, blindly, not knowing the next steps, uncertain, no matter what, follow God!! He knows the BEST path no matter what you see in the natural.

  I also married a counterfeit. I remember crying out the Lord after finding out he cheated again, and had a child on the way. He left and was with that woman, I was angry and asking God why He hasn’t dealt with him. Immediately I heard Holy Spirit say “you saw the red flags before you married him now you have to take responsibility for the choice YOU made.” From that moment I made the decision to forgive and let go. I’ve been single for 8 years. Praise God for his mercy and deliverance.
