FNF Corrosion but Sung by Monika and Sayori (Late Halloween Special)

  Alright, it&apos;s time I finally dissect this video and find out the mysteries of the corroded code.<br><br>⚠️THIS WILL CONTAIN MASSIVE SPOILERS, PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION ⚠️ <br><br>So we start in the literature club, all is normal, fine and dandy, the club is singing together, most of them smiling and having fun.<br><br>Though a curiosity I have is… why is MC there? Typically when Monika is deleted, you notice the difference at the start of the game, prior to MC joining (which we&apos;ll get to later).<br><br>My only guess is that it&apos;s a flashback of some sorts, since Monika is still facing the player and the chuckle at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=83">1:23</a> is her remembering the good times before she snaps back to reality and faces Sayori, both figuratively and literally, in a very well done custom sprite where she faces right at her.<br><br>She knows that there is no getting her way out of this one, so she doesn&apos;t pay attention to the player, the one who deleted her.<br><br>All the while, the game acts like everything is fine, icons are normal, notes are normal, everything is normal, vanilla sprites and all.<br><br>Then at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=186">3:06</a>, Monika takes Sayori out of the room, so the others can&apos;t hear what she&apos;s about to say, because she knows that someone is going to take her place soon.<br><br>Then we arrive at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=263">4:23</a>, where Monika sings lyrics one last time (note that she is still looking at Sayori despite the front facing sprites). It&apos;s also worth noting that in the original Corrosion (with the Phineas &amp; Ferb Characters), I believe Lillie at one point said on a stream that Phineas sounded like Sayori in the part after this. I feel like the lyrics are asking Sayori what she will do in Monika&apos;s place as President since she won&apos;t be here for long, turning this section with &quot;Your Reality&quot; from a sweet song into a bittersweet goodbye.<br><br>Speaking of Sayori, with the self-awareness she has now been given that Monika is going to be gone soon, is now frowning… her hands shaking as so much has been thrown at her in such a short amount of time.<br><br>She isn&apos;t real, yet she&apos;s going to be the new President, and Monika is dying right in front of her.<br><br>Despite this, the game acts like everything is fine. The icons on the bar are still cheerful, as though this is just a friendly battle, when in reality, it&apos;ll be Monika&apos;s last song.<br><br>And then <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=341">5:41</a> comes and Sayori witnesses her friend&apos;s deletion, both parties now crying. Monika couldn&apos;t spare Sayori the mercy of seeing her be erased from this world. Despite this though, Monika&apos;s tears are with a smile, spending her last moments with the one who always kept the club smiling. Her sprites flickering and glitching in and out as the remnants of her code, data, files, etc are being wiped from existence. Sayori&apos;s memory of her also beginning to fade. It&apos;s no doubt that Monika is going through incredible pain but she still smiles, both of their hands are shaking.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=401">6:41</a> the notification pops up. Monika only has a few seconds left in this world, as merely her unstable presence is causing the game to collapse (see the screen at this time and notice how it gets blurry when she sings). The game doesn&apos;t even bother updating her icon (Sayori&apos;s changes though) because she&apos;s too far gone at this point.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=422">7:02</a> a new game begins and this cues the dialogue for when Monika&apos;s file is deleted before the player starts DDLC.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IO4heyBLmI&amp;t=441">7:21</a> but then… Sayori finds herself back in the room with some familiar faces(?) I admit I&apos;m not sure if BF and GF are part of this or if they&apos;re just there because of the DDTO Bad Ending implications, but then Sayori looks at the screen and sees a third familiar face.<br><br>And she wants to give them a show.<br><br>The thing about this is that unlike in the original DDTO Bad Ending, Monika isn&apos;t around to witness the events of what happens, meaning that BF and GF&apos;s fates are sealed and there will be no second chances.<br><br>The screen glitches and then all is soon to be Stagnant.<br><br>Overall I think that Monika&apos;s deletion was in both FNF and DDLC and the combination of the worlds caused a bit of a chain reaction, resulting in Monika being deleted from both games.<br><br>I&apos;m not sure if it&apos;s pre or post DDTO given the Bad Ending implications, but I&apos;ll let others theorize about that.<br><br>Legendary video, loved the attention to detail.<br><br>Stay creative and stay legendary.<br><br>Thanks for reading all the way if you did! 💚 (though take what I say with a grain of salt because…)<br><br>(The funny part is that I&apos;ve never played DDLC)<br><br>Okay bye!   Took me till near the end but I get the story.<br>This is when Monika bought everyone back except for herself after being deleted that’s when Sayori became self-aware<br>And based off the original version of this song story this isn’t even the real Monika it’s just Monika in Sayori head and then you can guess the rest.<br>This Halloween special may have been late but it was definitely worth it … Even though this is my first time seeing your videos LOL Nonetheless Love the animation at the end and everything else near the end.
