  I love the idea of throwing away energy entirely, but I do think you underplay just how popular Satya is as a commander. It's ranked 108 on EDHrec. Not exactly an unknown commander.

  This guy at my local bought the precon of this as his FIRST deck and accidentally stumbled into infinite combat phases that just killed us all

  My two favorite spicy cards for Satya are tax collector and yosei the morning star. Tax collector is INSANE to repeatedly clone, making all your opponents spells cost 1 more mana for a rotation for just 2 mana upfront is cracked, and the ability to detain creatures makes it even more versatile. Yosei is also hilarious with satya because you attack, sac the original to legend rule, and then sac the copy on end step and essentially time walk 2 of your 3 opponents. Very very funny when you pull it off. Yosei is also a great “don’t attack I have the nuclear codes and I will block” option to play out even onto an empty board, does great psychic damage to your opponents.

  I have 3 different Satya decks. I shrugged off Energy for the longest time, but I'm having so much fun with Satya.

  Man, I wish he also had green. There's a few infinites that can be done in the colors already, even in the precon, green adds primal prayers to the infinites.

  I&apos;m crossing my fingers (but not expecting) that one day they&apos;ll print a new card with commander ninjitsu and <b>that&apos;s</b> when they&apos;ll errata it. but people would get mad so I doubt they will. but it&apos;d make so much sense. Gavin even made a mysterybooster playtest card with &quot;fixed commander ninjitsu&quot; for goodness sake!

  do you have a decklist? also doesn&apos;t &nbsp;combat celebrant also work to go infinite? <br> and i think wormfang manta goes infinite aswell, though it is a bit janky although im not sure about this interaction<br>edit: wait i think combat celebrant does not work, because the tokens you make dont get haste, and thus cannot attack the same turn they were created with satyas ability also they cannot exert in the when they are created, because they can only be exerted when declared as an attacker so i think combat celebrant does not work

  Satya might be the easiest way to copy lands. I love making land tokens, especially of the crime lands. And all you need to do with satya is attack with a inkmoth nexus that is already a creature. Two satyas (using legendary copy shinanigans) does that twice. Extra combats you say? Untapping my new land tokens i need zero energy to keep? And storing up energy for something stupid in case that comes up?
