  Im born in Canada but lived in the Netherlands (Dutch Father, German Mother) my early childhood and we spoke Dutch at home...fast forward met my Filipina wife when I was 20 in Canada...she came at age 15 (lost her accent now sounds Canadian)...we are now in our mid 50s and going to retire early this year to Philippines after 34 years of Marriage...so as a person who speaks Dutch/English and a bit of German...its been my obsession to learn Tagalog recently as I refuse to be a foreigner who cannot speak Tagalog...so listening to Jared is always inspiring and a fellow countryman who is Dutch even more so :)

  The way she speaks Tagalog is very impressive--her pronounciation, her accent--so very Filipino! I&apos;ve seen Pinoy Planet&apos;s video while she was cooking Filipino dishes at her restaurant, she&apos;s awesome!

  OMG she sounds completely like our neighbor from 5 blocks away 😂 Grabe fluency nya yung pace, tone, accent, slang and sentence construction ng modern Filipino convo (prominent usage of taglish) kuhang kuha nya.
