I lost more fish using a soft rod, all of it was my father’s fault for he liked a softer rod. When I started making more money as I grew up I finally spent the money buying a rod with a heavier action and I know I started to catch more fish. I told my father this and he said I was crazy and I told him use it for a while and before long he said he was wrong. I really miss my favorite fishing partner!

Old geezer fishing. I am getting old and I just can't brake brush or get too far into water.... plus living on SSI. Gear for 100$ is a good deal........... Semper Fi

Love your videos and I love creek fishing. For a 100$ you have proven you can put a lot of food on the table 😊

$100 challenge worked 2-3 years ago, now minimum you have to do the $250 challenge, with inflation! I always wait to find bargains, but I don’t have a YouTube channel.

I miss living in Tennessee and this type of fishing. The only thing you didn't do for me was to stop in a country store for one of those hand made bologna and cheese mom and pop sandwiches with a coke, a bag of chips and a Goo-Goo Cluster. Good times!

Believe it or not the hardest decision for either a beginner or expert angler is walking through the fishing area in any sports store and trying to select the gear and making the best decision for a fishing challenge lol! Fun video John thanks for sharing tight lines take care and God bless!
