I picked up the Walrus Audio Canvas 15 a while back, absolutely love it! I don’t mind the power cable arrangement in the least, and I really like that they’re made in the USA. Top notch power supply!

I’ve got those two Cioks running my board and they’re just outstanding. One of the best investments I’ve ever made. I was a bit wary at first about the RCA cables but after getting it I realised it’s a total red herring.

Bought the Fender Engine Room 12 a few weeks ago. Nice bit of kit.

Where I am in Oz the Fender Engine Room is half the price of the comparable CIOKS, so bit of a no brainer. The Strymon Zuma unfortunately has a reputation for failing suddenly.

A few notes on the Pedal Power 3 Plus that might be helpful:
1) with or without the 12v expansion port, it maxes out at 4000mA. So the X8, for example, gets you 8 more ports, but your total power max is not increased. This will of course only matter for people with several power hungry pedals, but it's worth noting.
2) they have cables for doubling voltage or current which make it super easy to be versatile with power needs. That said, it's not as versatile as the Cioks DC7. Also, if you have many pedals that need unique voltage, you may run out of options.
3) their support has been really helpful and responsive when I've had questions.

Good roundup - I do think you gave short shrift of the Ernie ball Volt. For the price it’s extremely small and still offers true isolated outs 18v, and expandability. Great for smaller rigs that don’t need over 350ma.

Power supply is very much the epitome of "buy once/cry once." Yes, it's expensive, but spending money early on a good power supply is smarter than buying a few mediocre ones. I think you said once that the MXR one doesn't have great regulation and can sometimes jump over 9v. For me, it's been all Cioks for the last few years. I even love the grip for the pedaltrain :)

Mission 529x has been great for me for a few years. If you run a small board and nothing other than 9v this is a great priced ultra small unit

Cooks DC-7 and 4, hands down.

I use GigRig Modular for boards but If I had to replace my home supply I'd probably have to go Canvas just because my old Phoenix has served me so faithfully all these years. I could see using the Cioks though, even with the weird cables. Having a 15 volt option is invaluable as far as I'm concerned

one of the best options you can get in my opinion the mxr iso Brick Pro is the best unit I've ever used it can be linked to the mini ISO brick via a 1.5 Amp 18 volt output for 16 (9 +7) isolated Outlets
