  For the recond, in the Forgotten Realms, Moon Elves and Sun Elves are both varieties of High Elf.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48gHNWT7Je4&amp;t=686">11:26</a> I think the reason why moon elves are known as the most common type is because, at least in 5th edition, moon and sun elves are both subspecies of high elves with no stat differences.

  Missed the Pallid Elves. Yes it is a Critical Role variety but it was published by WotC in The Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount.

  A few you forgot: Fey&apos;ri (basically Tiefling Elves), Dusk Elves (Ravenloft, mentioned in CoS), Celadrin (Celestial Eladrin), LeShay (Very Elf coded race of Archfey), Maraloi (Kara Tur Elves), Sidhelien Elf (Birthright, Welsh Elves), Elemental Elves (Unearthed Arcana, the book, from 3E had a bunch of elemental variants of Elves), and even though I am not an Eberron fan I think you forgot the Umbragen Elves of that setting.

  The thumbnail art for this video is really cool! I think the coolest part about elves for me is the roleplay capabilities. Living for 500+ years gives character personalities that not many other species have. My favorite elf character archetype is the one from Frieren, an elf that spends their life diving into something and doesn&apos;t feel the passage of time. They&apos;re so different that they experience time differently than everyone else. Week 18 of asking for aboleths!
