  Color is what the world needs. Our emotions are dulled by the monotone sea of whites, greys and blacks of today’s cars. Look at photos of roads from 50 years ago, beautiful.

  I’m not a Prius guy (but only Toyota guy) but I think the new Prius is one of the best looking cars on the road today!

  The colour is one of  the 'safest' for visibility by other road users. Statistics don't lie.

  We have a 2024 Prius LE with 8000 miles, the engine is starting to loosen up.  We are getting 59.2 MPG per tank; driven 258 miles and the gas tank has more than half.  I changed the oil at 1700 and 5K.  This is a great daily driver, it has good power, handling, ride, MPG, reliable.  I am glad we bought it.

  At -<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47kN4eMMEoM&amp;t=1408">23:28</a> the reduced size of the driveshaft is deliberate to allow the shaft to twist in torsion rather than transmit stress deeper into the transmission. This is a well known engineering design often used in the half-shafts of rear wheel drive axles. Toyota are designing for longevity again and that gets a big thumbs up from me.

  Folks, the Karashi color is the BEST color yet for the Prius. The Nightshade model is gorgeous!

  I rode in a 2014 Prius in Washington DC that had 620,000 miles on it same battery third set of brakes and it still got 57 miles to the gallon according to the Uber driver. The reason I asked the guy how many miles it had on it was because, the front wheels were making a bit of noise like wheel bearings but hey... 620,000 miles? Unbelievable.
