  Wow - we didn&apos;t make you open every nook and cranny in your vehicle (or your bodies), we didn&apos;t search/dump your phones, we didn&apos;t ask for your birth certificates, we didn&apos;t check your criminal history, we didn&apos;t do a four-hour formal interrogation... Lot easier for you to come in than for us to go there. Welcome to Canada, eh!

  Welcome to Canada and have a great trip. As you go further north, remember to never skip a gas station, they get further and further apart.

  It is amazing that people in the USA think that Canada won&apos;t have electricity, and food. &nbsp;Canada produces some of the very best cheese IN THE WORLD. &nbsp;Oka Cheese from Quebec is one of my favourites, but Canada is also world renowned for its cheddar. &nbsp;Regulations in Canada ensures that any dairy product is properly produced and Canada still has inspectors to make sure that the rules are followed. &nbsp;Canadian dairy farmers have to hand pick weeds from their pastures because no pesticides or herbicides are allowed. &nbsp;This same goal for healthy products goes to poultry, eggs, beef, pork and sea food. &nbsp;Canada may be highly regulated but it does have its benefits. &nbsp;Outbreaks of Measles, hooping cough, flu, bird flu, and other preventable diseases are not common here and if they do occur they are brought to bear quickly. &nbsp;I hope you enjoy your trip through Canada and gain a better understanding that our two countries are closely related.<br>Since the tariff threats most US liquor will not be available in Canada, however we still have spirits and wines from Canada and around the world that you can enjoy.

  I&apos;m an older grandma who traveled to Canada for years on vacation. The crossings have always been easy and fast. Just tell it right, and there&apos;s no problem.....

  What most Americans don&apos;t understand is the difference in what is considered a &quot;weapon.&quot; I always carry bear spray in both countries, which isn&apos;t considered a weapon pepper spray is, in Canada. If you answer incorrectly with this question and they search and find pepper spray, the polite Customs agent won&apos;t be too polite anymore. You can bring long guns into Canada and some hand guns but you need the proper paperwork. I&apos;ve seen Americans charged with smuggling when they forgot the pistol in the back of the RV. This results in a court appearance and a permanent ban from entering Canada. Know exactly what you have ahead of time.

  This sounds like a typical crossing to me. &nbsp;At 75 years young, we have been asked these questions for - ever!! &nbsp;Nothing life alterting - nothing to stress yourself over. &nbsp;Being honest and taking off your sunglasses is a must at any crossing.......Love from London, ON &nbsp;🇨🇦

  Note that the $10,000 limit over which must be declared is Canadian dollars which is $7301.14 USD at the time I am posting this.

  We do have food, toilet paper, etc. in Canada 🇨🇦 In fact, for the most part, better quality.

  Even if you have stuff you aren’t supposed to have, declare those items. The CSBA will tell you you can’t bring them in and show you where the garbage can is. It’s simple and stress free, just answer their questions honestly. It’s that simple.
