  The American historian Robert Paxton opened the eyes of the French with his excellent work Vichy France, published in 1973.

  One of the greatest examples of &apos;spin&apos; in modern history is the story spun by France of their role in WWII<br>They have managed to massively inflate the role of the French Resistance when in reality it was pretty minor with Albert Speer famously saying &apos;What French resistance ?&apos;<br>Meanwhile the role of Vichy France has been hidden so successfully that few people even know that the French actually fought AGAINST the allies in Syria and Tunisia/Morocco and resisted the British takeover of Madagascar whilst also allowing Japan to freely operate from French Indo China (now Vietnam) <br>Plus of course the despicable collaboration shown in the film above<br>And then they have the temerity to moan about Churchill sinking the French fleet !!!

  A truthful documentary about &nbsp;brutalities ( execution)committed by both Nazism regime and Vichy (French popped)regime against Jewish ✡️ communities ( French citizens and foreigners) during WW2...thank you 🙏 ( Slice full Doc) channel &nbsp;for sharing.

  Excellent still/motion photography pictures/guest speakers sharing personal information &amp; experiences pertaining to the Vichy regime. Enabling viewers 👀 to better understand what the orator is describing 🤗.

  I&apos;ve read a good bit about Serge and Beatte Klarsfeld and I was happily surprised to see him in this video. They did so much to bring escaped Nazis to justice after the war.

  On our second day in Paris, while crossing from one attraction to next next, we stumbled into a small, mostly run down Jewish cemetary. &nbsp;None of the dates on the tombstones were any newer than 1939.
