The Unknown Wanderer: Is He the Tylenol Killer? What's Proven

In 1982 a man was found dead under a pew in a Boise church, carrying no ID and a typed note signed with a false name. For 44 years nobody knew who he was. On September 23, 2026, an Idaho sheriff's office gave him a name and floated a possible link to the Chicago Tylenol murders. Some headlines said the killer had been found. This video separates what has actually been shown from what has only been suggested: the evidence investigators cite, the cyanide mismatch, what the FBI and a former Illinois prosecutor said, and why the announcement timing matters. The sheriff's office says it cannot name a suspect in a crime outside Idaho, cannot place him in Chicago in September 1982, and has passed its information to Chicago authorities. The Unsolved Mysteries documentary "Unmasking the Tylenol Killer" premieres October 9, 2026 and we have not seen it; this video covers only what was public before then.
