  Dad had a 9n when I was a kid. It had carb problems that he never sorted out. He sold it to a neighbour. In his later year’s he bought a 30 hp John deer 790 4x4.

  My grandpa had a 47 8n, and in my teenage years, I plowed, bush hogged, put up fencing, and everything with that tractor. I would get on the tractor, put a chaw of tobacco in my mouth, and work all day, but I think that was one thing that helped with my depression, when I was on that tractor, I was always in peace.

  I have a <br>1952 8N ford tractor... I was having an overheat problems too , and then I bought a aluminum radiator and put on it and haven&apos;t had overheating problem since. But I have an eight foot bush hog that I cut 75 acres with it , and it does amazing. I never Thought that it being that old , it&apos;s still reliable.

  The municipality I worked for had this same year tractor and brush mower to keep the weeds cut on an old reclaimed landfill. &nbsp;Wasn&apos;t &quot;New &amp; Shiny&quot; &nbsp;But it started every time and did the job.

  My dad had two, I swear on lead additive I mowed 4 gear wide open! only once! I Almost rolled and that big steering wheel saved my life! lol
