Pretty sure Bruce wrote this about his sister and her husband.

There's a version where he tells a draft story about him and his dad before he starts singing (at LA Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA - September 1985)... It's incredible.

My favorite Springsteen album. So many incredible songs on that. Hyngry Heart, Sherry Darling, Ties That Bind, Stolen Car, Cadillac Ranch, just a few of the memorable songs from this stellar double album.

My baby sister moved 600 miles from home and moved in with me a few months to get settled in my city. Every night she played the entire album after we went to bed. When she moved out I gave her the album, every song has a place in my soul and hers, memories live on. Thank you for reacting to this, much love and respect!

Bruce is one of those rare artists where his live performances are far better than the studio version.👍

Wonderful song. More Springsteen? Try JUNGLELAND - the greatest sax solo in history by Clarence Clemons.

This whole song tells you the story of my life word for word. Everything in this song happened to me and my wife who I've been married to for 39 years this 4th of July
