Sorry about the ‘surprise’ descent into Church Stretton Si. I actually did a rowdier one on the recce ride but decided it was too much so we re-routed down that ‘gentler’ one instead 😂. Probably should have mentioned the ‘little rise’ past Caer Caradoc afterwards though. Epic effort though mate, proper inspiring 🤘🏻

I was born and raised in Shropshire, but I have lived in New Zealand for many years. This is quite possibly the first ever time I've felt homesick. Thanks for a great video and an awesome effort, Si 👌

At 81, I did my first gravel ride yesterday. Nothing like Si's epic adventure, but it was fun, especially when I nearly lost it on a downhill rounding a bend. Anyway, that was one Hell of a ride, Si.
