Noah inside the ark, Jonah inside the big "fish", Christian inside Christ (En Christo) where salvation is, baptized into Christ, buried the old body in the tomb of water and rise up to the newness of life cleansed the conscience with the blood of Christ during water baptism, then go home rejoicing!

 Hey guys,
A couple months ago I started dating a wonderful woman that was an atheist. As the relationship progressed, she started learning about Jesus Christ and the bible and decided that she wanted to get baptized and put her faith in Jesus Christ!
We’ve been doing research and trying to understand more about baptism.
The question I have is the following. Who has the authority to baptize someone? Is it the church/priest? Or can a regular person like myself who’s a follower of Christ have the authority to baptize someone? I’m asking, because she’s a very reserved person and isn’t really interested in doing a public ceremony if she doesn’t need to.
If you or anyone you know how been through this process, I would love to have a conversation knowing your thoughts and experiences! It would be extremely helpful :)
Thank you guys in advance and God bless you all

Baptism is a covenant vow's that you are willingly going to follow Jesus Christ even unto the grave, knowing that you will be resurrected with the other righteous dead or you could not even taste death.
Baptism by the spirit is the holy Ghost entering you to lead you and teach you All things that are true.
