  The British upper classes have this affectation of being slightly baffled and out of it.But they are extremely on the ball when it comes to guarding their own hugely privileged position.Horrible people..

  I had to let in the hoi polloi to pay the bills. All I got was galloping clap and a visit from the vice squad

  Even if the peer does not or cannot live in the mansion it should still be restored

  Hah, the army! Careless bunch.<br><br>My father bought a house, not a place like this shown in the video of course but a large house with 5 bedrooms and it was also wrecked by the army which commandeered it during WW2. <br><br>But in 1950 he got it at auction for the right price and fixed it all up. I was a toddler then. <br><br>I do recall later as a kid of 9 or 10 though being excited to find a number of large bullets and 2 hand grenades in the greenhouse at the bottom the garden! All were live and the police were called then bomb disposal army guys to take away their litter!

  Prince William of Gloucester was in Tokoyo 1968,he was working at the British Embassy in the commercial section.I have read that he enjoyed living in the house he had and made friends with the people.

  So I have read and heard.<br><br>Any positive sides? England still shines brilliantly before our eyes!<br><br>I am not just talking about your international celebrities, I am talking about your food, intellectual endeavours, etc.<br><br>I have been reading a book by Clarissa Dickson Wright, Spilling the Beans.<br><br>Can Japan produce a woman like that? I doubt it. England may have a few problems, but you have a vast pool of talents, which I hope I can tap into soon.<br><br>
