  Many thanks for ur thoughts.Entirely agree.In 2024 I sold an old narrowboat,(I,m 73 ,the kids are grown,it cost 50 quid a week ),told family I,m going to buy a bike.Thought I,d get an RE 500 ,found the Classic 350,thought &quot;Christ,that,s drop dead gorgeous&quot;,bought 1,2nd hand.Brilliant bike.At the time said to my son,&quot;wish they,d do a 650 version&quot;.Saw 650 Classic.No,no,no.Looked terrible.This Bullet 650 is really,as you say what they should have done. The looks are right.Still love the Intercepter though,and its 20 kilos lighter than all the others.

  if they made a bike with the 650cc motor with that exact look of the old 500 classic they would be onto a winner.<br>on the 350 bullet the seat looks too thick, they have done this seat a bit better. I still think the gap between the tire and guard on the back looks a bit off, it looks better then the classic 650.<br>I reckon the goan 350 look with a 650 motor would be awesome

  A lovely bike Paul and a great review. I think this bike is a far more worthy successor to the final Classic/Bullet 500&apos;s rather than the new 350&apos;s ever were, although I would have preferred a big single engine. An air/oil cooled 600/650cc single would have been perfect but I guess that engine would be more of a &apos;one trick pony&apos; and they need to use their engine range across many bikes to make financial sense.

  That is such a manly looking machine. I love it. I think they were trying to hard with the Classic. It&apos;s exactly what some us need around other parts of the world. We dont all get to &quot;bimble along country lanes&quot;. Some of us live close to huge mountain ranges, vast plains, with brutal headwinds, on the edge of deserts or in deserts. There can be some tough conditions out there. Sometimes a 350cc doesn&apos;t cut the mustard, having to stick to the inside of a lane. We want to be able to overtake and not feel anxious about it. Thats why 350s/400s will never take over the world! 😂<br>Great review mate.

  You’ve summed it up nicely here. I was looking forward to the classic 650’s release and was disappointed as it looked like a completely different bike. The Bullet is a much bigger brand, bigger than Royal Enfield itself in India so really glad they’ve kept its silhouette and given the people what they wanted. <br>I do disagree with you on adapting the seat and making this the classic though.<br>I think we’re going to start seeing more Bullets than Classics in the UK now!!

  I agree, this is the 650 I would go for. I used to hate the style and that seat, but over time it just looks right. &nbsp;However, I wish they would make a new version of the 500 as I love the singles and want a bit more than the 350s have to offer. &nbsp;If/when Honda release their new 500 single in the UK, I think it will bite deep into Royal Enfield sales.

  I didn&apos;t like the classic 650, until I saw one in the flesh. Then I rode it and fell in love and I WILL be buying a classic 650 next year. Just got to decide which colour. I also looked at the bullet 650 and I don&apos;t like the back end at all. I don&apos;t like the one piece seat and the angular mudguard REALLY jars my eyes. It&apos;s horses for courses isn&apos;t it? The bullet is the exact same bars, pegs and front end as the classic, surely, the only thing that makes it different is the seat. You must have a very opinionated bottom!
