  Karen Carpenter, I am 61 years old today and listening to your wonderful voice. She was a fantastic singer. Wish she lived to old age. Unfortunately she died far too young. Rest in peace Karen.

  This was our wedding song in 1974!!  We were together 43 years before I lost him to cancer five years ago. This song brings back so many beautiful memories.

  I’m 65. I loved her voice. Always. Since I was a teen. I wish she could have found love. Someone she really deserved.

  Richard was the musical genius who wrote and arranged the songs. Karen had the golden voice that made them smash hits. It was a magnificent collaboration of a God-anointed brother and sister.

  Not only was her voice amazing, but her diction was spot-on. &nbsp;Each word she sung was so clear. &nbsp;Not shouted or mumbled that it couldn’t be understood, like so many other singers do nowadays.
