Big alcohol is the biggest reason for resistance to legal weed because in states such as Colorado after like 2 years after it was legalized big alcohol noticed that alcohol sales went way down not long after marijuana became legal. So now in places like Massachusetts big alcohol is trying to buy off lawmakers so they can reverse the legalization. Alcohol is way worse than marijuana by a long shot.

I am 74 years old and quit earlier this year after major shortness of breath issues. I had been smoking on and off since I was 15 years old. Decided to quit the wine intake also. No desire to do edibles just yet even though I have done them previously. Don't miss it , at all. Happy to say , I'm working on my health and got quite a bit of living left to do. I certainly hope someone reads my comment and learns from it as I am not tooting my own horn. I still have good friends who smoke, some everyday like I used to. Peace & Love Y'all.

Thank you for providing intelligent content. I’ve been smoking cannabis for 55 years and have had a 45-year career as a computer programmer. I find that cannabis has allowed me to shut out distractions and focus on code. I retried and started watching the grass grow. I’ve found that growing cannabis has opened up a fascinating hobby, a learning experience, and great exercise. I have found that I develop a spiritual connection with my plants. What I exhale, the plant inhales; what the plant exhales, I breathe in. My plant depends on me, and I depend on my plant. Each time we touch, energy flows back and forth; we seem to know what each other needs, which has improved my overall health over the last 10 years. As an extra benefit, my cannabis costs me less than 50 cents a gram.

    59. Retired 5 years ago. Wanted some. Grew some. Now I'm a gardener. Tomato's, peppers, broccoli...everything. My garden connects me to the universe. It's where I find my spirituality. I smoke a bong once every two weeks if I need it or not.

I am 56 and broke every bone in my body in a car wreck when I was in my 20s. I was under doctor prescriptions and could feel my body getting way worse year by year. Work became impossible. I live in a state that legalized weed. Since then ,I do not take daily pain pills or anti inflammatory medicine. I have had the ability to blend strains to make my own tailored blend that works for my pain and inflammation with out fogging my brain or taking away any focus or energy. Thank the Lord I can find a bit of relief. A hot bath with Epsom salt ain't too bad either😅
