My wife and I went and saw it yesterday. I thought it was pretty good. Lots of action, great music, and no real "message". It was basically Season 4 of the tv series condensed into a 2 hour movie and a higher budget. Not sure what all the negativity is all about on this one ...

Skeleton crew was pure nostalgia for me. It reminded me of every 80s kids shows made. I loved every minute of it. I wish my kid would have watched it with me. 😅

I'm pretty bummed about the shelving of Rogue Squadron... I have always craved a Top Gun Style Star Wars Movie.

I didn't mind this movie b/c I watched it in a positive frame of mind. I think this movie is mean to be a fun movie meant to lure younger viewers and converting new fans. My wife and sister-in-law saw the movie (non-star wars fans) and actually stayed awake (and even enjoyed it). As a star wars fan, it did not satisfy my craving for more story but at least i'm still craving for more.

I actually just saw this movie today with a friend of mine, and if I’m being completely honest, despite how anxious I was ever since it’s announcement along with the first teaser trailer coming out at the time, I didn’t think it was that bad.
