  The thing is that $10k rule has been the same amount since 1970, when $10k actually was a lot of money.  Now, $10k barely buys anything, but the point is that they want to surveil and scrutinize us so that even the most mundane activities are monitored.   Same with the $600 reporting requirement for 1099 forms.   Used to be that $600 was a tidy sum, but nowadays, people won't even get out of bed for less than that.  Which means virtually EVERYTHING is being reported.

  So you need to have another account in another bank checking or savings in case  your bank account is frozen.

  The only reason they are allowed to know my birthday is for identification, and they shouldn't be allowed to know it for that. I say it is against the law for THEM to use my birthday information for any other reason. It's none of their damn business.

  In this day of inflation, arbitrary &quot;trip-wire&quot; amounts (for example the 10K for transactions) need to be substantially RAISED. <br>Stand up for our 4th Amendment at every turn. Using CASH is NOT A CRIME.

  So the government robbed her and then she had to pay a lawyer to get her money so she could get her money back. This is why I do not like doing business in the United States because if your running a cash business, and you deposit your money in the bank so it’s got a safe place to be. It’s just amazing to me that the government would steal from you like that and everything. It’s absolutely amazing to me that the government feels they can steal from an honest hard-working person without ever asking questions. They should’ve asked questions first and yet they didn’t. They just stole somebody’s money without by your leave honestly it’s getting harder and harder and harder to do business or anything else in the United States these days without running a foul of some stupid law that was written back in the 1950s or 1940s when very few people would ever hit that limit and yet today we got people hitting that limit on a regular basis or they’re just putting their money in the bank on a regular situation like clockwork and then the government comes and takes their money might even be their life savings and they don’t even they don’t even buy your leave or even care and this is why people do not trust the government. This is why people don’t trust law-enforcement. This is why people don’t trust anybody and I don’t blame them and so I would say that the level of insanity that is coming down the pipeline right now is bad and when it gets worse I’m sure it’s going to get worse. The entire country is going to shatter although I’m not really sure whether it hasn’t shattered already.

  Wow, I worked for a few banks back in the 80&apos;s and I do not recall any training in any way to catch this kind of thing, other than the $10K threshold to report directly to the IRS.
