  I am an American and we just moved to Alfama. All of the streets and ally&apos;s you walked down are now our backyard. We may have passed each other walking around. We love living here. The tiny restaurant&apos;s can blow your mind with the amazing food.

  the algorithm has made me stumble across your video as I have just booked flights to Lisbon in May. Got to be honest this is one of the best videos I have watched regarding Lisbon, and I have watched quite a few now and plenty have been posted by people with many more subscribers than yourself. I will no doubt watch this video as a point of reference numerous times between now and May, keep up the work as it&apos;s stellar and some of the best travel content out there.

  Lisbon has always been a dreamy destination, I went there in 2019 and I loved it even more than I pictured it and I fell in love with architecture , food, &nbsp;culture, people and the landscape. something about Portugal is so special and I will go back to explore porto and other cities... greeting from Southern California

  The custard tart has become a tourist attraction, but the truth is that our pastry shop has much more and better options than just the custard tart or even the Belém tart. Tourists, don&apos;t be shy and try other types of pastries; each region has different sweets, and the convent sweets are divine.

  We visited Lisbon for New Year and absolutely loved it. We stayed is the same area as you and there were so many amazing places to go and the food was next level. We are heading to Madeira in January 2026 and have been watching your vlogs diligently. Thanks for the great content

  &quot;Polvo a Lagareiro&quot; is not fried, you&apos;re correct it gets boiled town till it gets tender and then it&apos;s roasted in the oven to finish it off, normally not for more than 8-10 minutes ;)<br>And to tell you the truth , Octopus is something that frightens people who never ate it but to me it&apos;s the best kept secret of the sea amongst those who eat it. It&apos;s tender, it&apos;s juicy, it&apos;s flavorfoul and tbh the whole secret is in the boiling. After that&apos;s been done to perfection you can pretty much do what you want with it and it will always be tender &nbsp;;)))
