You obviously put in a lot of effort to film a trip like this and then to edit it all together afterwards. Thanks for sharing

From Twin Nobs to Mt. Clear you must stay high on the ridge tops otherwise you will suffer!

Great video, thank you. I've watched a few AAWT videos now (the Oates brothers last winter trip totally blew me away) and they have recharged my batteries to do a few smaller trips into our Alpine areas that I once frequented on a regular basis but have not done so for many years. So thanks for that. Can I say, I was mightily impressed with your footage and commentary throughout the documentary. Multi week epic hikes like this involve incredible planning, careful consideration and then ultimate commitment to be successful. To complete 650 odd kilometres of mostly wilderness hiking is a stupendous effort, even with the advent of the unfortunate hiccup after Mt. Speculation. I'm so glad you went back and completed that most difficult section in due course. Wishing you well for many more great adventures in the future. Cheers, David Lole

Wow! I saw this bloke hiking yesterday in Bunyip State Forest. I thought he looked pretty serious so I stopped him for a chat and asked him a few questions. Glad I did! Awesome video Trevor!

Great video Trevor, I've watched it numerous times ! Are you still planning on doing it again? I'm stuck in Melbourne and our roadblock out yesterday hasn't instilled much confidence , but I'm still planning a mid November departure if the planets align. Did you ever get a definitive answer on the actual distance compared to Chapman's book? Hard to plan properly if his are out.
You smashed the GSWW in quick time, and obviously it's an easy flat walk ( I did it in July, terrible vid on my profile) , how many kilometers a day on the AAWT would you think is achievable/realistic putting in a similar amount of effort each day you were doing on the gsww . Is 30 unrealistic ?
Thanks mate

Hi Trevor,
I have another question that I'm hoping you can help me with. You mentioned that at one point you retrieved some muddy water. What system did you use to treat this? I have the mini sawyer but this can be ineffective at filtering particulates.
Thanks in advance.

Congratulations Trevor and your team. I've watched your video twice now. You're an inspiration. A mate and I are looking at doing this next October perhaps, but I'm concerned about the level of regrowth after the recent fires. Thank you for posting such a detailed video.
Did you rely heavily on GPS or was topo maps and compass the primary source?
Thanks again Trevor.

Wonderful video Trevor. Did you carry a gps with you on the journey? I just bought John chapmans book. I've got 4 weeks off at the end of the year. Might do a section of the track

Hey Trevor, Awesome adventure. What time of year did you walk the track? It appears there was still some snow, is this because of the time of year or is it just expected because of the altitude? Thanks.
