  I rarely comment on golf videos but feel compelled to comment on this one.  Just took this to the range and I  CANNOT believe how much compression I was getting with my irons.

  I could name several instructors whose videos I've watched, and they have all these tips, in the end it's always the same guy with the same perfect swing.  The thing i like about these videos is that the end result he's teaching isn't about the shot at all..too bad im stuck in an Indiana winter.  This one i can do in the driveway !

  Thanks Chris, this lesson was outstanding for one one range session then I forgot the feeling because the range was flooded for 2 weeks. Just discovered the video again and will update later today

  The swing thought that works for me is that I should feel my hands almost in line with the ball before releasing the club.  It's one of those things that the feeling differs from what's actually happening, as realistically the weight of the club is starting the release just a little before that moment, but the visual of seeing my left knuckles(with flat wrist) pointing toward the ball made it all click.   You should never feel like you are fighting the clubs weight(let the release happen), nor should you feel like you have to stop your hands to let the club catch up(hands exit left and club releases through the ball).

  An eye opener indeed. I don’t really flick the club but I now see my release is still much in front of me ND i compensate with an early turn. Thanks, will try this out.

  I've been rebuilding my swing and this has helped tremendously, the hardest part is the follow through at shoulder level

  Excellent! It's the Moe Norman move. We hung out at the same driving range and had no idea who he was except unusual. Never missed his target
