I’ve been a dentist for 35 years and dentures are the most ridiculous and absurd concept in history. Patients who need them should reflect on how negligent they were to lead to losing their teeth. I have no compassion for them. All they do is drive the dentist out of his mind with ridiculous expectations. Dentures should be a do-it-at-home procedure. We dentists don’t deserve the hell you put us through.

I got a full upper and a partial lower about a month and a half ago now. If it wasnt for these vids I wouldnt have survived. Couldnt get the tops in or the bottoms out, couldnt talk, couldnt eat, absolute nightmare. literally cried for a month. But suddenly got to grips with chopsticks and gollfballs in my mouth, the soreness and downright frustration and now I am starting to own them. Have faith, it is doable.

Regarding dentures, most people are waiting too long with getting their teeth pulled.<br>The main problem with dentures is damaged bone and gum by bad teeth.<br>When i was 40 my teeth needed some repair, root canals, crowns and 2 bridges. This would have been very expensive.<br>My bone was still in perfect shape. So i decided to get all my teeth pulled for getting full dentures.<br>After the first few month of adjustment i was able to eat all things i have eaten before.<br>And now, after 20 years of wearing dentures my bone is still in perfect shape and als my gum.<br>I never did regret the decision to go for full dentures.

Went to my doctor with an ear ache, she saw nothing. Next day my wife had made me a dental appointment. Infection of my teeth. Had all top pulled 5 years ago, now all bottom had to go. I brushed my teeth 2 times a day and tried to take care the best I could. At 72 I figured, GET ER DONE. Their are problems to overcome, but I think I'm doing O.K. Lower set gives me the most trouble, but I just add more Fixodent to them in the afternoon and it does the trick. Glasses, teeth, hearing aids! Got the top part of my body working, NOW!

My husband has had dentures since he was 17, he's 78 now. Same dentures, they cracked once and he had them fixed(10 years ago). He eats everything without problem

Seeing such a young looking gorgeous woman having full dentures like me, makes me feel so much better about having them for some reason.

I am 1 week away from getting my teeth pulled. My situation is slightly different. I got diagnosed last month with throat cancer and before I can start radiation I have to fix my teeth. Oral surgeon said best bet is total extraction based on how bad my teeth are. I discussed the snap in dentures after I whoop cancer's ass. That's the plan 🤞. Scared to death but doing it. Brighter days and smiles ahead I hope. <br>Thank you for your videos. Very helpful for my mindset

It has been 6 month without real food, I miss my real food, still uncomfortable putting in upper teeth. I have lost A lot of weight, tried protein shakes getting really frustrated. My taste buds are not the same. I am so frustrated. I really appreciate your movie. Thank you.

I have been a dentist for 30 years, For the most part, I thought you were dead on-- on how dentures work. Usually patients are to apprehensive or overwhelmed when they get their first dentures, that they truly don't either understand or have realistic expectations of how dentures function. Your explanation of the process is quite accurate. If you and your dentures cannot function properly, eat and speak with your dentures, they can be adjusted. If your dentist cannot fix the basic functional issues, find another dentist. Today there is heavy stress on implants and more cosmetic forms of dentistry due to PROFIT motives. A quality, functional denture should be the norm, but many newer dentists and laboratories do NOT have the significant experience to master this type of restorative option. In fact it is becoming increasingly difficult to find quality labs to fabricate and repair dentures properly. There is a learning curve to wearing a denture, but it should not be impossible to enjoy a quality and nutritionally healthy diet. Demand satisfaction from your dentist or find a better, more helpful one !
