  I had a 67 bird 400 4bbl 4spd in high school, same color as that. raced on the streets a lot, never lost a race, took on all commers, typical of every pontiac <br>i owned, the timing chain &amp; gear was the week linck, luckily I didn`t blow it up. it would pass anything but a gas station, but gas was cheaper in 71.

  I was raised in the 1950-60&apos;s era. Mom and Dad made the the mistake of buying a Pontiac Le Mans overhead cam 6cyd with a stick sift! Oh what fun we had with that car. It only lasted a few months before dad traded it back in. He couldn&apos;t understand why the back tires keep losing all of there tread. Nice build.

  Major kudos to you guys for your superb craftsmanship! With this hobby dying off by us baby boomers it&apos;s a breath of fresh air to see some young guys still interested in spinning wrenches and auto fabrication regardless if you opted to put a 4 banger in the old Pontiac or went with an original V8! The smiles on your faces at the end was the big reward......Keep up the great work!

  It&apos;s a nice build if you are into 4 cylinder turbo engines but I&apos;m thinking, duh I could of had a V-8. Nothing beats the sound of a Detroit V-8 engine.
