  A worked in Italy over a number of years had an apartment near Varese.  When I was about to retire and return to the UK I cycled around lake Maggiore. Wonderful area.

  Hello Sarah and Will, a great video and we are today 25th Sept 2026 staying on pitch 49.  It’s absolutely brilliant here, we only booked it because we saw your video as soon as it came out.  The village is a real Lake Maggiore gem, thank you again for the recommendation.  Mike & Alison, from Bristol.

  Nice trip, thanks for this video. It reminded me again, that nowadays, it's better to travel somehow off main season(s). Less hot, no crowds, lower chances of traffic jams. This is beautiful place, definitely worth visiting😊. Bon voyage.😊

  Yes it's definitely the law to have a beer when you arrive at a campsite. Lake Maggiore is on our list for next year xx

  We took you advice and came here in June and its a very well run site.  On the top of the campsite the pitches are more generous (ours was #92), we got a lovely corner site and had plenty of room. Thanks for the ideas and creating these videos, all very helpful.  We took the boat ride today and really enjoyed a nice lunch and wander around the lovely town of Cannobio.  We had no issue travelling with our Labrador on the boat and the tick officer took a quick look and said no charge and forget about the muzzle ;-)

  Thanks guys for this video, we stayed at Camping Kockelscheuer which was a great site. The stayed in Kaysersberg in Alsace which was a beautiful little town which I would recommend, we stayed at Camping Kaysersberg, nice site close to town. We are now having 6 nights at Lido Cannero, what a great site, so close to lake. We are on the pitches just down the road on the right from the entrance to the site. The pitches are bigger & is secure with both a   gate for both vehicle & foot entrance which requires a code. This is a great site would definately come again

  Looks amazing, we hope to do this one day.  Thanks for sharing the information on parking a 6m campervan.  Looking forward to seeing you in Luxembourg.  Roxy looks to have enjoyed herself too, it's great that the boats are dog friendly.❤

  Maggiore is my favourite Italian lake (also Swiss). Have a wonderful time!
