Support me on Ko-fi so I can keep making playlists: https://ko-fi.com/lemonteaplaylists
Edit: I now have a sequel to this playlist with oldies/vintage jazz that you can check out here: https://youtu.be/_vSfLIv0Qmc?si=9nl-eUiML6oMwroA
I hope you enjoy this music compilation. Lately I’ve been creating playlists with music I like but don’t love, so I decided to do something more self-indulgent to rekindle my love for music. This is a comfort playlist for me personally, and I hope maybe you'll feel the same way. I also want to thank everyone who helped me reach 6,000 subscribers. Your support means a lot ❤️ Please let me know what you think in the comments and feel free to leave suggestions for future playlists. My grandma and grandpa practically raised my sister and I for many years. She used to make us little cups of coffee that were so sweet and creamy in little mugs that were shaped like flowers early in the morning and blueberry pancakes. Afterward, we would go outside to play and she used to have a very dense garden with a koi pond in the corner. We also, used to have one of those classic radio flyer wagons and I would pull my sister around the backyard while she had a bunch of her stuffed animals in the wagon with her. Then once it started getting super hot outside during the west Texas summers we would go back inside and drink some sun tea that she used to make. Ah, what a classic grandma's house experience.

My Grandma passed two years ago and at the end of her life. I was in my rebellious phase and not around her much as I was busy smoking weed and getting into trouble. Now that phase of my life is over. How much I'd give to just sit on her back deck facing the woods with coffee having a conversation with her. Identifying birds and laughing about the past. The stirring of tea/coffee is perfection! Hug you Grandma's while you still can. <3

I'm so excited for this one! I've been missing my grandmother more than usual this Spring (she died almost 20 years ago but I still remember her vividly as one of the brightest points of my childhood), so this feels like a hug and a cookie from her. Thank you.

I love everyones memories here. Thank you all for sharing. :) my grandparents pretty much raised me and my little brothers, and I remember brisk early mornings on their sunporch, listening for cardinals and watching the fog creep out of the woods before the carolina sun would bake it away. Me with hot chocolate and them with their instant coffee lol

My mom passed away in 2021, and I still miss her deeply. The wind chimes and bird sounds took me back to her little house on the lake when she was still alive. Thank you, LemonTea ❤ To anyone reading, I hope you find a joyful and comforting memory coming to mind today ❤

Man I miss my grandma. Eating her amazing food, baking cakes with her, collecting berries in the garden and in the forest, cleaning mushrooms, peeling oranges, always with a sweet treat in the front pockets of her colourful aprons. Doing those mundane everyday tasks with her made it whimsical, almost magical. I took that for granted.

My grandmother was a soft presence in childhood. Taught me how to hold a pairing knife and peel apples. We'd make applesauce, apple pies. She was revered for her apple pies. Late in her life she was crippled with anxiety. She wouldn't leave her house to even go outside. I would go visit and talk about caring for my garden, for my chickens, for my dogs, for my dear kids, her great grandchildren. She would especially ask about the chickens and sit with a smile on her face. Like sun beams were breaking through. I hope that she thinks of me from beyond the blue and thinks, too, that I was a soft presence in her life.
