  I’m 68 now but when I was in my early 20s, I raced motocross, during the off-season I would race what they called hair scrambles I raced one in Jasper Alabama and there were around 500 people that started it and less than 50 of us finished it and that was a good day because I was one of the 50 that finished it.

  I wish there was a uncut film of three or four guys running it so I could see how the whole course actually flows entirely. Absolutely insane.

  Manny Letenbichler has won the Erzberg Rodeo in 2022, 23, 24, and 2025! Four years in a row. He was (and is still) so good that he actually made a lot of it look easy. On the start he was usually first up to the first climb and just left from there - though Billy Bolt was hot on his tail in a couple of the races. Hard Enduro riders are just different. The racing is a combination of Enduro, Motocross and Trials and riders have to have skills in each discipline to be good at it. <br><br>The Erzberg is fun to watch because of the hundreds of the amateurs, many of whom are very good.

  My first Erz was on a Uni Cycle everyone said I was crazy but I didn&apos;t give up even with a flat tire off the start line and broken off peddle at the first hill climb plus a sprained ankle too but I kept forging on passing Grahm Jarvis then I woke up for work at the KTM factory.
