Ryan, I'm sorry you felt so shunned when you were only trying to get some validation from your people. I'm not saying they would understand the impact that these experiences had on you , but a little support could have helped you through this. With that being said, I'm glad you've found this outlet so you can share. It may not have the answers we seek but just being able to talk of these experiences w/o being judged can help immensely, so always remember, you have Miguel and all of us that you can turn to anytime you feel the need. Don't isolate your feelings or fears it makes them 10xs worse. Sending you Comfort & Light my friend. And remember you are not alone when it comes to these forest people and having so many questions w/ no place to turn for answers. If they wanted to hurt you physically they would have and if you feel that them coming to you to warn you to stay away, then listen to your gut. Don't underestimate your instincts, it's a gift we all need to hone and pay attention to.

I think the PTSD from the war and this experience has really messed with Ryan. Poor guy. Hopefully talking about it will help.
