EXCELLENT chat. As someone who knows so much about this and has been doing brain retraining for years and not fully recovered yet, I have only recently realized the blind spot in my practice was using the somatic oscillation and somatic tracking (and dozens of others tools) TO - with the ultimate goal in mind - to stop the symptoms. This was a huge blind spot for me, as I realized I was getting hung up on being empowered when I could stop them and so frustrated when I couldn’t, but not realizing that having that be my ultimate goal was derailing my full recovery. I’ve no doubt now I will recover fully.

Also, I just LOVED your chat. SO (so) many videos on YouTube about this topic are woefully misguided and make me so upset, but you both GET it. I hope this video is seen by every single human who needs it. Thanks, gals. Wonderful work and such thoughtful language selection for each thought and insight shared. 3 cheers, truly. 👏🏻♥️

You two are great in your comfort level with the information about recovery from neuroplastic symptoms, your openness, your flexibility! I especially appreciate the tangible steps that align with current research (a la Schubiner). In the midst of such suffering it is comforting to have something to do, even if it is just reminding myself I am safe and recovery is within my reach especially by teaching my brain that I can function on some level despite the symptoms. Being told by a recent content creator on this topic that we should do nothing but “allow” while paradoxically following her strict “schedule” and understanding “12 gates” of recovery, etc. etc. When one has brain fog and no energy, piles of left-brain explanations and instructions can be overwhelming and discouraging. What you both present aligns with research and seems doable and I can design and adjust what is doable for me. Your “prescriptions” do not intimidate or overwhelm. Thank you!

Raelan, I am forever indebted to you. It is largely due to you that my daughter Annie recovered from ME/CFS. You interviewed with her when she was recovered! She continues to be about 95%, has a rich and beautiful life. And now here I am experiencing NCD, and thank God found Yonit. To watch you two together , I’m brought to tears and gratitude. Thank you. (Btw your book actually was really helpful for her, as there wasn’t anything else that gave that hope of recovery at that point).
❤Karen Phillips

I tell people who are looking to make new friends in their new city that they should remember that discomfort isnt the same as danger and if you are always comfortable, you are never growing.

Thank you so much, Dr. Yo and Raelan, my two favorite youtubers! I am in heaven with this talk today! I listen to every video from both of you. I am more recovered than not, at this point, but would not have understood things without these two...plus Dr. Schubiner 💙of course! Hope you do a part deux, please 🙏

I'm thinking, this "experience" I'm having of dizziness, etc. is really a lesson of finding sovereignty--trust in intuition and authenticity, getting down to self-transparency, going deeper and deeper into the thought, the emotion, the beginning point that caused the misinterpretation to the brain. You two have found the thread and have the openness and ability to be gwntle and seek gentleness for those with this experience. It also seems to be a life lesson, an ascending, evolvement experience. It's all coming together and being revealed. Bless you for be-ing here at this time and taking the wheel. Extreme gratitude!
