That piled snow shelter is called a Quinzhee in North America. It's an Athabascan Indian name. My 12 year old daughter and I slept in one we made in out back yard in Erie, PA. With two candle lanterns we were able to read without gloves. My daughter slept in 2 layers of flannel pajamas inside two summer synthetic mummy bags. I had a -5 F. winter bag and heavy polyster base layer.
We slept all night in comfort and BTW, with no candle lanterns for sleeping. OUTSIDE IT WAS -22 F. (-30 C.)! It was the coldest night I ever saw in Erie in 30 years.
BTW, "-61 C." is only found in Antarctica. Cut the crap.

Maximum -15°C. I did a lot of those camping sessions and even trapped in snowstorms in the french mountains. -61 not even fahrenheit... -50C is already hell on Earth. Still, good video.
