Back in 2006, a guy killed a Polk County sheriff’s deputy and his K9. Once they found the guy, they had a shootout and the guy was killed. At the press briefing, a reporter asked why they shot the suspect 68 times. Judd replied “Because we ran out of bullets.”<br><br>True story. It was even fact checked by Snopes.

Sheriff Judd is my sheriff and he is absolutely the best!! Two guys broke into a home down the street and the homeowner arrived home to find 2 people in his house. The homeowner got 5 shots off hitting four times and killing one of the bad guys. Sheriff Judd held a press conference and said due to the surprise factor involved, they understand yet disappointed about the one missed shot..😂gangsta!
