In 1969 We sailed on the sister ship to the Fairstar, the Fairsky from Melbourne to Southampton via the Panama Canal. I had just turned 13, and I remember fun crossing the equator, but my abiding memory was of the food getting progressively worse and worse as the long 4 and a half week voyage progressed.. I have not been able to bring myself to set foot on a cruise liner since!
